Lagu ini dirilis sebagai single keempat dari album studio kedelapan mereka yang bertajuk Nine.
Video musiknya sendiri pertama kali ditayangkan di kanal Youtube mereka pada 28 Agustus 2019, dan sudah ditonton sebanyak 14 juta.

Dalam klipnya, Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker dan Matt Skiba tampil di sebuah sekolah dasar, dan dikelilingi anak-anak dengan tarian dari game online Fortnite.
Blink-182 mempromosikan video tersebut di media sosial mereka dengan tagline "Here's a video for Darkside with a bunch of kids doing dances we don't know".
Darkside berhasil menempati posisi ketujuh tangga lagu Billboard Amerika Serikat untuk kategori Hot Rock & Alternative Song.
