Lagu ini sendiri mengusung genre pop elektro dan ditulis oleh Aurora Aksnes dan Magnus Aaserud Skylstad.
Runway berkisah perihal seseorang yang selama ini terlihat baik-baik saja namun telah mencapai titik lelahnya dan hanya ingin kembali ke tempat dimana dia seharusnya berada.
